A few months ago I wrote a post about what i eat in a day following slimming world so I thought I would post another one. If you’re interested in reading my previous one I’ll link it here. I also explained the plan in that post.
My breakfast is pretty much the same everyday in the week. For my break at work I ate a banana, two sweet clems and a muller light strawberry yoghurt (1 syn).
I usually don’t eat lunch but as I was on a 6-2 shift I did have lunch when I got home. At the moment I’m really liking a ham and cheese sandwich. I use two dairylea light triangles (1/2 Hex A) instead of butter with some wafer thin ham on wholemeal bread (Hex B) I also had an apple.
For tea or dinner; whichever you prefer to call it, I had 1.5 chicken breasts which were seasoned with the Schwartz chicken seasoning. Schwartz seasoning really add some flavour to your food and are also syn free. With the chicken with had Morrisons steam and serve boiled rice. It is so easy to cook, you put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. On the side we had some of the Morrisons frozen mixed vegetables; again we just cook these in the microwave for about 10 minutes. The mixed veg contains: peas, carrots, green beans and sweetcorn. Carrots and green beans are also speed food. On slimming world a third of your plate should be speed food and these are the foods that will help with your weight loss.
I also had some red seedless grapes but I forgot to take a picture (sorry!)
I hope you enjoyed seeing an example of what to eat in a day following the slimming world plan. Slimming world is a great plan to follow if you are interested in losing weight or improving your lifestyle as I does not feel like you are on a diet.
