I love watching ‘What I Eat In A Day’ videos on Youtube. I find it really interesting to see what people eat so I thought it would make a good blog post. Just in case you didn’t know I am currently on slimming world. With the plan you get two Healthy extra A’s (this is like your dairy allowance) and you get one Healthy Extra B (so this is your bread and cereal). You also get 15 syns per day.
I very rarely eat before work as I usually have work quite early so I don’t fancy eating before. I’d also rather have some extra sleep. Also because of the shifts I work I only usually have 2 meals a day. This is what I take to work every day:
Alpen light cereal bar (1/2 Hex B)
Muller light yoghurt (1 syn)
2 sweetclems (speed food)
I also get a fruit bag and a bottle of water from work.
When I get home I usually have a piece of fruit to keep me going until I have tea. Today I had another banana; bananas are one of my favourite fruits.
For tea, or dinner whichever you call it we had gammon, homemade chips, mixed veg and a poached egg. This is one of my favourite meals. We make the chips by washing some potatoes and cutting them into chips shapes. Place them on a baking tray that is sprayed with fry light. Spray them with fry light and add your seasoning of choice, today we went for Schwartz Season All Paprika & Pepper. Cook them in the oven for half an hour on 220°c. The mixed veg mix we use is just a Morrisons own frozen mix that we cook in the microwave.
As I’d only had 1 syn so far today after tea I had two rows of Morrisons wholenut chocolate (7 syns per row) I never used to be a fan of nuts in chocolate but lately I have become obsessed with this chocolate.
